Today’s article will focus on the French Diploma in International Relations that is offered by ALC-comInternational. This French Diploma is ideal for those students who are interested in pursuing a career in the field of Diplomacy, International Journalism, or for those who are or aim to be International Civil Servants within their countries. Such careers require employees to have solid linguistic skills and this diploma will certainly prepare participants for the French side of things.

Who can take this Diploma?

It is important that those participants who wish to embark on a career in International Relations follow the DFP in IR, however, it is important that before they start they already have an A2- B1 Level of French. If your students do not have this level yet, we can help them reach it through our language program, and then, once they do, they will be able to start the DFP in International Relations.

What does the DFP in the IR Program consist of?

Depending on their level and step by step, the learner will acquire specialized knowledge in the target language on the different aspects of international institutions. The learner will be made aware of the realities, practices and operating rules of international organizations. 

What are the prerequisites for registering for the DFP in the International Relations preparation program?

  • 16 years minimum at the start of the program
  • School Leaving certificate
  • Ability to use a computer
  • Basic understanding of the professional world
  • French level prerequisite: A2-B1

What skills will the participants in the DFP in International Relations master?

Participants in this course will learn how to deal with documentation that may relate to the following areas:
